Brain damaged dad left unable to walk or talk after savage football hooligan attack gets home rebuilt by DIY SOS
 

A football fan left with permanent brain damage in a brutal attack by rival fans will be given a lifeline by TV show DIY SOS.
Cambridge United supporter Simon Dobbin, 45, was attacked by more than a dozen Southend supporters armed with bottles and glasses.
The married dad-of-one was left unable to walk or talk after being punched and kicked him as he lay defenceless on the floor after an away game in March 2015.
The gang members involved in the "savage pre-planned attack" on Mr Dobbin were thrown behind bars after a six-week trial that ended in July.
