Boy, 16, left for dead after hit-and-run in Brantingham Road, Elloughton



A teenager is critically ill with life-threatening injuries in hospital after he was struck down by a vehicle in a hit-and-run.
The 16-year-old was cycling on a black bicycle around 11.15pm on Friday night when it is believed a vehicle travelling in the same direction struck him from behind and knocked him to the ground.
The motorist drove off and the boy was later found lying in the middle of the road by a member of the public, who called the emergency services.
