Boris Johnson tried to speak Italian and it didn’t go well

The foreign secretary Boris Johnson broke into Italian in the House of Commons today and quickly apologised for his lack of fluency.
He was asked whether Italian citizens currently living in the UK will retain their right to remain after Brexit.
He began answering the question in Italian, saying: ‘All Italians are welcome in London’ before giving up and apologising to those in attendance.
