Booze, knives and needles: What people try and smuggle into Teesside Crown Court
 

Security guards stopped almost a dozen knives from being smuggled into Teesside Crown Court last year.
And the amount of contraband being smuggled into the court shot up last year - with the number of blades being took visitors more than trebling.
G4S staff confiscated everything from tools to booze, much of which is passed to police.
Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service says if people try to bring in illegal items the police will be called.
