Bodybuilding woman jumps on dog in 'Akita' attack in Bradford Avenue, Hull

A bodybuilder has described how she had to jump on top of her beloved dog to prevent him from being killed by another animal.
Llinos Murray and her Jack Russell/terrier cross, Celt, were just a minute from their home in Bradford Avenue, east Hull, when Celt was set upon by an Akita or husky-type dog.
Five-year-old Celt suffered a serious injury to his hind leg and is receiving treatment.
Mrs Murray, 32, said: "It was about 5am and I decided to do some cardio training as I had a body building competition coming up.
