Birmingham fails to provide help for hundreds of special needs children
 

Hundreds of Birmingham children with special educational needs have been left waiting for the plan that is supposed to help them move from primary to secondary school this September.
It means parents don't know what help will be available for their child at a key moment in their euducation.
Education authorities such as Birmingham City Council were supposed to produce “Education Health and Care plans” for children with special educational by 15 February 2016.
But according to official figures obtained from the authority, Birmingham missed the deadline for a staggering 426 children.
