Birmingham City rumour: Derby County want Gary Rowett to replace Nigel Pearson



The Sun tonight report that Derby County are keen to speak with Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett about replacing Nigel Pearson.
Pearson was suspended by the Rams ahead of their 2-0 win over Cardiff City last night with an investigation ongoing on his behaviour after a reported falling out with owner Mel Morris.
And Morris has now reportedly outlined a move for Rowett, who spent three years with the Rams between 1995 and 1998, after the former Burton boss impressed during his time with the Blues.
