Birmingham bids for Commonwealth Games 2026
 

Birmingham is going for gold with a bid to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games and bring athletes and competitors from 71 countries to the city.
After months of deliberation, the city has lined up a bid which it claims will not only raise Birmingham’s global profile but give a £390 million boost to the city’s economy, creating jobs and bringing in thousands of visitors.
