Binge drinking twice a week for a year adds up to 57 DAYS worth of calories and the weight of a TODDLER



Binge drinking twice a week adds up to an intake in excess of 110,000 calories a year, a new study suggests.
This equates to 57 days' worth of the amount recommended for women (2,000) and nearly 46 days for men (2,500).
This extra energy could pile on the weight equivalent to that of an average toddler.
MailOnline has calculated these figures based on a report by Canadian researchers who looked at the link between binge drinking and youth obesity.
The researchers found students consuming five drinks in one sitting took in 114,400 calories a year – equivalent to nearly 33Ibs or 15kg of fat.... read more
