Big hole gets bigger at brickworks

0 Have your say A former miner has voiced big concerns over clay extraction work near his home which is seeing green fields dug up and a big hole left in their wake.
Alan Warner, 78, of Codnor-Denby Lane, says noise from the works at the old Waingroves Brickworks site is a constant problem and he worries about what will be done about the large hole which is being created.
Mr Warner believes the extracted clay from the old brickworks, which closed in 2006, is being transported elsewhere.
