Benefits fraudster must repay £22,000

AN ATTENBOROUGH man has been told to repay more than £22,000 after pleading guilty to eight benefit offences.
Jason Slater, 34, of Long Lane, Attenborough, attended a hearing on March 10 at Nottingham Magistrates Court for sentence.
At an earlier hearing he pleaded guilty to eight offences of dishonestly, failing to notify a change in circumstances that affected his entitlement to benefit under the Social Security and Administration Act 1992.
