Belle Vue Aces secured their place in speedway's Elite League Grand Final with a stunning 63-28 win over Lakeside Hammers at the National Speedway Stadium.
With an eight-point lead from the first leg, the Rentruck Aces were heavily tipped to progress through along with Poole, setting up a repeat of last year's final.
But Poole's dreams of a fourth consecutive title were left in tatters after Wolverhampton recovered the 12-point deficit they faced to knock the Dorset outfit out.
