Bede's World in Jarrow set to reopen eight months after shutting its doors
 

A heritage site will open its doors to visitors again later this month – eight months after closing amid financial problems.
The former Bede’s World site at Jarrow – now renamed as Jarrow Hall, Anglo-Saxon Farm, Village and Bede Museum – will open on Sunday, October 23.
The venue was run by Bede’s World Charitable Trust, which leased the site from South Tyneside Council, but the attraction is now managed by communities’ charity Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle (STAN).
