Beatles tribute by Newcastle MP as new crossing is unveiled in the city
 

It was a case of ‘Let It Chi’ for a Newcastle MP when she helped unveil a new zebra crossing in her constituency.
For pictures of Newcastle Central MP Chi Onwurah and local Labour councillor Ian Tokell to mark the event on Sunday looked rather familiar to music fans, particularly followers of the Beatles.
Taken by Chi’s parliamentary assistant Sarah Pine, they were set up to resemble the famous snap of the ‘Fab 4’ used on the cover of Abbey Road, the legendary band’s 11th studio album.
The Newcastle version was taken on Fenham Hall Drive in the city’s west end.
