BCU vice chancellor steps down for personal reasons
 

The vice chairman of Birmingham City University has left his role citing "personal reasons."
Professor Cliff Allan will leave with immediate effect after four years his post.
BCU confirmed former Teeside University vice chancellor Graham Henderson will step into the role while a permanent replacement is sought.
The full reason for the resignation has yet to be revealed although staff were made aware of the resignation in an email this afternoon (Friday).
