BBC Young Musician of the Year 2016 Sheku Kanneh-Mason on his Royal Concert Hall debut
 

Nottingham schoolboy and BBC Young Musician of the Year 2016 Sheku Kanneh-Mason will make his Royal Concert Hall debut as part of the Sinfonia Viva NYE Gala Concert.
The 17-year-old cellist from Mapperley Park is currently combining a hectic concert schedule with studying for A levels in Music, Maths and Physics at Trinity Catholic School and travelling weekly to London where he holds the ABRSM Junior Scholarship and studies with Ben Davies at the Junior Royal Academy of Music.
