Barry Bannan shrugs off injury worries in boost to Scotland's World Cup qualification bid
 

The midfielder has been troubled by a pain in his foot for the past week, but is determined not to miss out on tomorrow evenings’s clash against Lithuania.
Bannan required an injection to feature for Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, and took things easy after joining up with Gordon Strachan’s squad on Monday as he nursed the knock.
However, the 26-year-old has required no further jabs and the injury has settled down, allowing him to train fully and declare himself ready to feature at Hampden if selected by boss Strachan.
