Barrow teacher still emotional after being awarded MBE by Prince William



Peter Chisholm, 57, who was born in Barrow but now lives in East Sussex, was appointed an MBE by Prince William on Tuesday for his services to education, charity fundraising and sport for young people.
He said: "It was an amazing experience. I'm very much a traditionalist so to go in and see the grandeur of the palace was very emotional.
"I was absolutely amazed by how much the Prince knew about me. He referred to me straight away as Peter, knew the name of my school and knew that I was the headteacher.
