Barrow nursery pupils enjoy frozen classroom challenge

Youngsters at the Little Lambs nursery, at St Pius X Catholic Primary School, have been looking at winter as a theme.
Children arrived at class to find that some toys had been frozen in ice and they had to work together to melt or break the ice.
Some decide to use salt or break the ice to release the toys.
They also had a ball making artificial snow and playing with their toys in the snow.
The children looked at ways how people stay warm in the cold conditions. They wrapped up in warm jackets, hats and scarves and had warm milk.
