Barrow choir preparing for homecoming concert after successful European tour



Last month, 22 members of the Barrow Male Voice Choir travelled to Belgium and Holland where they sang in cathedrals, museums and even in front of passengers on a ferry crossing the North Sea.
The trip, which saw 48 people in total enjoy the sights and surroundings of mainland Europe, was organised by county councillor Barry Doughty, who is a tenor for the group.
Under the guidance of their musical director Anthony Milledge, the choir performed a programme of songs including the popular country song Linden Lea and the Titanic classic My Heart Will Go On.
