Barman dies in crash near location where parents were killed 20 years ago



A man has been killed in a car crash close to where his parents died nearly 20 years ago.
Dean Dewhurst, 28, died after his silver Volkswagen Golf crashed into a lorry on Whalley Road, in Clitheroe, Lancashire, on Monday.
In 1997 he had been travelling as a passenger in his parents’ car on the nearby A59 at Sawley Brow when they collided with another vehicle.
Julie and Phillip Dewhurst were both killed leaving Dean, then nine, and his two younger brothers as orphans.
