Barclays attracts most complaints among big five High Street banks



Barclays Bank was the most complained about financial services firm in the first half of this year, according to the latest figures from the financial regulator.
The Financial Conduct Authority said that between January and June complaints to Barclays rose 3 per cent on the second half of 2015 to reach 287,463.
HSBC was the only other of the big five High Street banks to see complaints go up, with a similar rise of 3 per cent to 124,891. Even though Lloyds Bank saw complaints fall 7 per cent to 213,163, it remained second to Barclays in the complaints league.
