Baptism of fire for new Gainsborough Trinity goalkeeper George Willis
George Willis may only have played one game at home since his arrival at Gainsborough Trinity, but his man of the match performance means he is already a fans’ favourite.
The former Sheffield United keeper has appeared for the Blues at league leaders AFC Fylde and high-flying Darlington in what has been a tough start to his Trinity career.
“Playing away from home against teams like that is very tough,” said Willis.
“But there is so much quality in this league. If you are not concentrating for a second you get punished.
