Bank card thief caught after shopping at Asda in Hessle Road



A prolific burglar stole a disabled man's wallet as he slept at his home in west Hull.
Neil Stembridge entered the 61-year-old victim's home in Thornwick Close at 3pm on June 29, after he had gone to take a nap.
Once inside the property, Stembridge, 36, found a bag hanging on the man's mobility scooter. He took £35 in cash and the man's bank card as well as a mobile phone and laptop.
The victim, who suffers from emphysema, discovered his property had been burgled when he woke up an hour later.
