Bangor murder detectives continue to question local man, 54, over woman's death



A local man is continuing to be quizzed by murder detectives in connection with the death of a woman in Bangor .
A 53-year-old woman, local to the area, was found in a critical condition in a house in Trem y Garnedd, Maesgeirchen at 9.02am today (July 31).
She died in hospital a short time later.
A 54-year-old man was later arrested in Felinheli on suspicion of her murder.
He remains in police custody.
The investigation is being led by DCI Brian Kearney at Caernarfon Police Station and an incident room has been set up by North Wales Police .
