Bake Off's Andrew Smyth sees the funny side of his unintentionally rude marzipan creation



Great British Bake Off contestant Andrew Smyth has laughed off his baking blunder after his showstopper turned into one of the show's rudest cakes yet.
The Rolls-Royce engineer, 25, left Paul Hollywood struggling to contain his laughter and Mary Berry remarking "it's a little bit on the clumsy side" when he presented the judges with his marzipan creation.
Smyth made knights on horses for the outside of his Tudor themed bake - but instead of being positioned in a knight's hand, the caramel jousting pole was left in a rather awkward position.
