Badly treated call centre staff step up campaign



CONDITIONS at a call centre providing services for the likes of Barclays, Sainsbury’s and Which? are so bad that nine in 10 workers say it is “not a good place to work,” a damning survey revealed yesterday.
Union GMB said it would step up its campaign for decent pay and working conditions at the Parseq call centre in Sunderland.
Its survey, carried out over three weeks in August and September, found that 72 per cent of staff say they have been paid short and a massive 86 per cent do not feel valued by management.
