Back to school for brave Cory as he marks six years in remission from a brain tumour



Brave cancer survivor Cory Davison is all smiles after celebrating another milestone on his road to recovery.
The 13-year-old has some good news to tell teachers and friends when he returns to school on Tuesday after doctors at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary confirmed he remains in remission - six years on from his battle against an aggressive brain tumour.
Cory’s family, breathed a sigh of relief after the annual check-up just days ago and dad Steven admits the agonising wait before the yearly appointment never gets easier.
