Back to basics for Scots pair on Channel 4's new cooking show

FORGET soggy bottoms, it’s burnt baps that are nearly the undoing of two Scots contestants on Channel 4’s latest cooking show.
Pals Nicola Mair and Ami Larsen are the first amateur chefs to put their pinnies on in the new series of My Kitchen Rules UK, which sees duos create pop-up restaurants in their own homes for the judges and rival contestants to savour.
The friends, from Glasgow, who named their eaterie Two Hungry Weegies, say cremating the bread rolls was just a small blip in what was one of the best nights of their lives.
