Baby born with adult-size tongue able to smile for first time after life-changing surgery
 

A BABY has had two ops to slice 6in off her adult-size tongue – so big that medics feared it could kill her.
The life-changing surgery has allowed 16-month-old Paisley Morrison-Johnson to smile for the very first time.
Her parents say she is close to saying her first words.
She was born with Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome – a rare overgrowth disorder.

Her tongue got to more than twice the size of her mouth. She was given breathing apparatus to stop her choking to death and a feeding tube to prevent her starving.
