BA snaps up Monarch Airlines slots at Gatwick Airport in a multi-million pound deal



 IAG has landed sought-after runway slots at Gatwick Airport in a multi-million pound deal with collapsed carrier Monarch Airlines.
The British Airways owner has reportedly bought most of the take-off and landing strips at Britain’s second busiest airport. EasyJet, Norwegian, Wizz Air and Jet2 are all reported to have made enquiries since Monarch’s business closed.
