Auditions for BBC's 'Face of Hull' taking place at Hull Truck Theatre today



Hundreds of wannabe presenters have turned up this morning to audition to become the BBC's 'Face of Hull'.
The "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity will see somebody join the BBC team in East Yorkshire to help with their City of Culture 2017 coverage next year.
A panel of familiar face Peter Levy, breakfast show radio host Carl Wheatley, weather presenter Keeley Donovan and head of BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Helen Thomas will judge competitors and decide who gets short-listed for the job, with auditions starting at Hull Truck Theatre from 9.30am today.
