Atherstone biker 'left for dead' by hit-and-run driver



A FATHER-OF-ONE has suffered extensive arm and shoulder injuries after being knocked off his bike by a hit-and-run driver.
Paul Wallace, aged 39, was riding home on the A4097 when he was knocked off his bike next to Kingsbury Water Park at around 12.02pm on Sunday, October 2.
He says he was knocked into the road by a silver or blue Volvo trying to overtake the car in front.
The welder, who is from Atherstone, suffered a broken wrist, ripped skin, whiplash and severe shoulder pain – and had to be hospitalised due to his injuries.
