Aston Villa transfers: The latest on Sunderland's pursuit of Ross McCormack



Sunderland have been in contact with Aston Villa regarding the possibility of signing Ross McCormack - but for now the two clubs are poles apart on a valuation of the attacker.
The Scot could be free to leave Villa Park without too much of a fuss - despite only arriving at the club last summer - provided the claret and blues receive what they’re demanding.
It appears the Black Cats, now managed by Simon Grayson who worked with McCormack at Leeds, are hoping for a cut-price deal of sorts, but Villa want to recoup most of - if not all of - the £12m they parted with to recruit him from Fulham... read more
