Aston Villa and David Wagner: This is what Huddersfield have to say



Huddersfield Town have stated that David Wagner will NOT be leaving them to manage Aston Villa.
Terriers chairman Dean Hoyle issued a statement saying: "David has told me that he would never leave us for another Championship club, regardless of which club that is."
Wagner was among the candidates Villa were considering to replace Roberto Di Matteo, but the Birmingham Mail understands Tony Xia and Co had already moved on to alternative candidates.
Steve Bruce remains the clear favourite with the bookies.
