Ashes cauldron ‘like playing for Manchester United at Anfield’, says England bowler Stuart Broad
 

Stuart Broad has likened an Ashes series in Australia to playing for Manchester United at Anfield.
Fast bowler Broad became a public hate figure during England’s last tour of Australia in 2013-14, partly due to his refusal to walk during the Trent Bridge Test the previous summer.
The Brisbane Courier newspaper refused to print his picture or even name him throughout the series while thousands of fans attended the games wearing T-shirts with the words ‘Stuart Broad is a s*** bloke’ printed on.
