Asda van ploughed into Derby bus stop hitting three people - after driver fell asleep
 

A supermarket delivery driver ploughed into a bus shelter after falling asleep at the wheel.
Jagjeevan Singh Mann's Asda van hit three people waiting at the stop, in Sinfin Lane, Derby. One of the women at the bus stop, outside the County Hotel, was dragged under the van and suffered serious injuries.
Andrew Vout, prosecuting at Derby Crown Court today, said Mann, of Ettrick Drive, Sinfin, had started work at 7.30am on January 28, 2015, and was on his way back to the Sinfin store when the accident happened.
