Arsene Wenger is a perfect fit... the next manager does not need to be English, insists FA chief Martin Glenn

Arsene Wenger is ‘perfect’ to be the manager of England, FA chief executive Martin Glenn said on Friday.
Glenn maintained Wenger, whose Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season, ticks all the boxes as the FA look to appoint somebody to replace the shamed Sam Allardyce.
Wenger, celebrating his 20th anniversary in charge of Arsenal, admitted he might be tempted by an approach, saying: ‘One day if I am free, why not?’
And when asked about the Frenchman’s suitability, Glenn responded: ‘He’d fit the criteria perfectly. Of course he would, as would a few others.’
