Arsene Wenger could make Jack Wilshere captain if he signs a new contract: 'He is an Arsenal man'

Arsene Wenger has told Jack Wilshere he can become Arsenal's next captain if he commits himself to the club.
Fit-again Wilshere has been a rare bright spark for the Gunners this season, after spending last term on loan at Bournemouth.
His future, however, remains uncertain with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Wilshere, 26, came through the ranks at Arsenal after joining the club as a schoolboy. He captained Arsenal as a starter for the first time in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at Chelsea earlier this month and kept the armband as a souvenir.
