Arriva bosses condemn reckless attack which left man with serious head injury
 

Arriva bosses have condemned a reckless attack on one of their buses which left a man with a serious head injury.
A yob hurled a brick at the Number 12 Arriva bus as it travelled on West Derby Road at around 11.05pm on Thursday.
The object smashed a window and left the man, who is in his 60s, needing hospital treatment.
Unconfirmed reports suggested the victim was returning home after attending a retirement party with his workmates, and that he narrowly avoided losing an eye in the incident.
His injuries were described as not life-threatening and his condition was described as “stable.”... read more
