Arnold Palmer honoured at the Ryder Cup while Danny Willett's brother Pete keeps a low profile as Europe fight back to cut USA's lead on day one



Hosts USA took a commanding 4-0 lead on day one at the Ryder Cup after blitzing the morning foursomes, but Europe battled back to cut the lead to -3 overnight.
The visitors won the afternoon fourballs 3-1, with Justin Rose and Henrink Stenson leading from the front.
