Are you sure that's a good idea? NASA fires E. coli bacteria into space to see if it boosts its resistance to antibiotics



NASA has begun a crucial experiment that to see how bacteria such as E. Coli could affect astronauts. 
The space agency shot a sample of the bug into space from the International Space Station.
They believe that in zero gravity, the bug could have an increased resistance to antibiotics - which could cause major problems for astronauts.
