Arctic blast to bring ice, frost and snow to North Wales

A blast of Arctic air is set to bring icy gales and frost to North Wales as temperatures plummet to single figures.
Weather forecasters are warning that frost, ice and even snow could hit the region from Sunday.
The cold snap is due to an Arctic blast that is moving across the UK from Iceland and could last for several days including into the May Bank Holiday weekend.
A Met Office spokesman said: “It will be a fairly good start to the weekend with bright spells forecast across North Wales on Saturday.
