Angry parents claim school is 'caging' pupils who break the rules
 

A school has admitted fencing off rule-breaking pupils - but denied parents’ claims students were being caged.
Parents at St Edmund Arrowsmith School in Prescot posted angrily on social media about their children being made to wait inside a fenced off area when they turned up late to school.
Wesley Sloane told the ECHO: “School starts at 8.45am. Anyone arriving after that has to stay outside in a cage (big metal fences with a metal gate) with some teachers walking round with hi-viz vests on like wardens until 9am.
