Anglesey family move into Great Orme £1-a-year farm



A young family have moved in to a £1m coastal farm – they’re renting for just £1 a year.
Shepherd Dan Jones, 38, from Anglesey, is renting the 145-acre Parc Farm on Llandudno’s Great Orme from the National Trust after an international search for a farmer to look after it.
Experienced shepherd Dan will work closely with the Trust and wild plant conservation charity Plantlife to uphold the tradition of hill farming while helping to protect the Great Orme’s globally rare habitats and species.
