Andy Murray to put friendship with Kyle Edmund aside for China Open clash
 

The pair clash tomorrow after Murray beat Russia’s Andrey Kuznetsov 6-2, 6-1 yesterday and British No2 Edmund beat Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
“On the day of the match, it’s always a little bit uncomfortable,” said Murray, when asked about facing his Davis Cup team-mate. “Normally when you see your friends and stuff in the locker room you have a chat, joke around a bit. But on match days it always tends to be a little bit more serious.”
They have met in competitive action just once, in the Aegon Championships at Queen’s Club this year, where Murray won 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
