Andy Murray aiming to take world number 1 spot off Novak Djokovic
 

Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray has said his ambition for the rest of the 2016 season is to dethrone Serbian Novak Djokovic from the world number 1 spot.
Murray, 29, is currently ranked as the second best tennis player in the world and goes in to this week’s China Open as the top seed following Djokovic’s withdrawal with an elbow injury.
The Scot has enjoyed a phenomenal few months, picking up his second Wimbledon title in June before clinching a second Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016 in August.
