Andros Townsend called up to the England squad after Raheem Sterling withdraws due to injury



Andros Townsend has benefited from injury to Raheem Sterling and received a call-up to the England squad.
The Football Association announced on Monday that Manchester City forward Sterling will not be fit enough to meet up with the Three Lions squad for World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.
In his absence, caretaker manager Gareth Southgate has summoned Crystal Palace winger Townsend, who has 11 caps to his name.
