Amir Khan: Middlesbrough man in court accused of blackmailing boxer
 

A Middlesbrough man has appeared in court accused of blackmailing boxer Amir Khan.
Hamza Din, 27, is alleged to have made an ‘unwarranted demand’ of money from former world champion Khan on March 27 in Middlesborough .
Din, of Old Dryburn Way, in Durham, previously of Marton, Middlesbrough , appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court today.
Din is charged with “on March 27 at Middlesbrough with a view to gain for yourself or another or with intent to cause loss to another, made an unwarranted demand of money from Amir Khan with menaces”.
