Amir Khan can't wait to use 'new hand' and plans boxing return in 2017 after successful operation to transplant hip bone into his fist

Amir Khan is targeting a return to boxing in early 2017, after an operation to place hip bone into his right hand was a success.
The 29-year-old had opted to go in for surgery to address a problem in his hand which had been of trouble for some time.
Khan broke his hand around 13-years ago and had struggled with the repercussions ever since.
Khan took to social media platform Instagram to share an X-ray scanned image of his hand following the recent operation.
